Winter Masquerade Crochet Scarf

Winter Masquerade Scarf - free crochet pattern

The temperatures have been cooling and I’ve got a quick and easy crochet scarf pattern to share with you today – the Winter Masquerade Crochet Scarf! This scarf is made using super bulky yarn in a simple repeat with just enough color changes to make it interesting. The pattern draws its name from the series of “eye holes” running through the scarf which remind me of carnival masks!

For the main color, I used a brooding dark gray. For the contrasting color, I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Stripes in Coney Island. This yarn has some fun color changes that coordinate very well with the main color. To make sure that I got the specific color blocks I wanted, I did cut the yarn so that I could start each contrasting stripe with a different color.

If you are looking for a beginner friendly pattern that goes beyond the basics, then this one might be for you! If you are interested in checking out my other free scarf patterns, you may find them here.
